Joseph Warren Whitney (Phinehas, (poss.) John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Phinehas and Mary (Crommitt) Whitney, was born 27 Oct 1821, Phillips, ME,[1] or Ellsworth, ME, and died 22 May 1855. He was buried in Juniper Cemetery, Ellsworth, ME.[2]
He married, 24 Oct 1846, Bangor, ME, Mary Sawyer Whitcomb, daughter of Eleazer and Abigail Green (Joy) Whitcomb. She was born 10 Jul 1828, Ellsworth, ME, and died 28 Feb 1893. She was buried in Juniper Cemetery, Ellsworth, ME.[3]
