Family:Whitney, Leonard (1808-a1880)
Leonard7 Whitney (Nathan6, Nathan5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Nathan6 and Eunice (Puffer) Whitney, was born 25 Nov 1808, Westminster, MA,[1] and died 13 Dec 1880, Lincoln, MI, aged 72 years.[2]
He married, 9 Dec 1830, Providence, RI, Charlotte S. Allen.[3] She was born about 1809, MA, and died between 1870 and 1880.
He married secondly, before 1880, Sarah S. -----. She was born Feb 1815, VT, and died after 1900.
Heywood says "d. unm. in early manhood."[4] His death record proves that he did not, since it names his parents as Nathan and E. Whitney.

i. Henry Allen8 Whitney, b. 6 Nov 1832, Providence, RI; m. Anna E. Bellows. ii. Harriet Whitney, b. ca. 1836, RI. iii. Holland P. Whitney, b. ca. 1838, MI; living 1850, but not found afterwards. iv. Emily E. Whitney, b. ca. 1841, MI. v. Edwin C. Whitney, b. ca. 1852, MI; m. Estella E. Birdsell.
Leonard7 and Sarah S. (-----) Whitney had no children.
