Lorenzo Andrew8 Whitney (Joel7, Elijah6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Joel7 and Abial (Nason) Whitney, was born 15 Mar 1820, Sutton, MA,[1] and died after 1880.

"Lorenzo" Whitney married firstly, 11 Jun 1850, Monson, MA, Eliza Mason Chadwick, daughter of Harvey and Mary (Benner) Chadwick.[2] She was born 15 Sep 1833, Pelham, MA, and apparently died between 1860 and 1866.

"Lorenzo A." Whitney married, 25 Jun 1863, CT, Anna Y. Chadwick, daughter of Harvey and Mary (Benner) Chadwick, born about 1848, RI. She apparently died before 1866.

"Lorenzo" Whitney married thirdly, 8 Mar 1866, Berlin, MA [also Millbury, MA], Charlotte Ann (Peck) Fitzpatrick, daughter of Joel S. and Mary A. D. (Pope) Peck.[3] She was born 3 Oct 1846, Sutton, MA, and died after 1880. She had married firstly, 8 Sep 1862, Charlton, MA, John Fitzpatrick. Apparently she divorced Whitney, because she married thirdly, 10 Jan 1870, Northbridge, MA, Henry Thomas Lund. Apparently she divorced Lund, because she married fourthly, 14 Dec 1871, Westborough, MA, William A. Woodman. Apparently they were divorced, because she married fifthly, 13 Dec 1880, Chelsea, MA, Oscar R. Wheeler. In each marriage record she used her maiden name, and each (except the second) is called her first marriage. No death record or subsequent marriage has been found for her, but when Oscar R. Wheeler died in 1901 in Boston, MA, he was recorded as married. Neither Oscar nor Charlotte has been found in the 1900 census.

"Andrew L." Whitney, of Sutton, married fourthly, 12 Aug 1869, Hannah Marks, daughter of Michael and Mary (-----) Marks.[4] She was born about 1847, Bangor, ME.
