Margaret⁵ Whitney (Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), daughter of Jonas⁴ and Dorcas (Wood) Whitney, was born 22 Oct 1731, Harvard, MA.^[1]

She married 22 Jan 1756, Petersham, MA, Jonas Wheeler,^[2] son of Jacob and Amity (Amsden) Wheeler. He was born 10 May 1734, Southborough, MA.

She married secondly, (int. 8 Oct 1791), Petersham, MA, Michael Cressey "of Chesterfield," as his third wife, son of Ebenezer and Eleanor (Bartor) Cressey. He was born 10 Aug 1728, Littleton, MA, and died 6 Nov 1812, Chesterfield, NH. He had married firstly, 20 Dec 1752, Littleton, MA, Katherine Wetherbee, q.v. He had married secondly, 5 Sep 1787, NH, Abigail McNeal.

Children of Jonas and Margaret⁵ (Whitney) Wheeler, all born Petersham, MA:

i.	Ephraim Wheeler, b. -- Oct ----; d. 24 Apr 1759, Petersham, MA.
ii.	Nathan Wheeler, b. 1 Oct 1761; m. 10 May 1785, Petersham, MA, Lydia Bond.
iii.	Margaret Wheeler, b. 29 Oct 1763; "Jr." m. 6 Dec 1801, Petersham, MA, Jonathan Johnson, as his second wife. He had m.(1) (int. 21 Aug 1773), Petersham, MA, Rachel Felton.
iv.	Hannah Wheeler, b. 7 Sep 1767; m. 10 Apr 1796, Petersham, MA, Levi Johnson.
