Mary Tyler7 Whitney (Joel6, Paul5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Joel6 and Mary (Weston) Whitney, was born was born 4 Feb 1823, St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, and died Feb 1885, Pine, Ripley Co., MO.

She married 14 Dec 1842, Bridgton, ME, Aaron Peabody, son of John and Asenath (Stevens) Peabody. He was born 13 Mar 1812, ME, and died 4 Feb 1900, prob. Stultz, Texas Co., MO.

Aaron Peabody was the brother of Charles Colesworth Pinkney Peabody, who married Cordelia Whitney, the sister of Mary Tyler Whitney. He was a veteran of the Civil War, and received a pension for his service.

ii. Albion Perley "Pearl" Peabody, b. 23 Nov 1846, ME.

1856 Iowa State Census: Canaan, Cerro Gordo Co., IA; blacksmith

1860 Census: Reeve, Franklin Co., IA; blacksmith; with wife and all 4 children

1870 Census: Oakland, Franklin Co., IA; farmer on the Mofatt farm; no other family mentioned.

1880 Census: Clear Creek, Vernon Co., MO; resides with the family of his son Aaron. His son Albion Pearl also resides there.
