Moses8 Whitney (Ephraim7, Ephraim6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Ephraim7 and Jemima (Whipple) Whitney, was born 31 Aug 1786, Upton, MA,[1] and died 7 Oct 1876, Upton, MA, aged 90 years 1 month 7 days, of gangrene of foot, farmer.[2]

He married, 3 Mar 1812, Upton, MA, Susannah Hall,[3] daughter of Stephen and Mary (-----) Hall. She was born 10 Sep 1792, Medford, MA, and died 13 Nov 1866, Upton, MA, aged 79 years 2 months 8 days, of dropsy.[4]

He was born in Upton and resided there, was a farmer and inherited the property from his father. It had been in the family for four generations. In his old age he resided with his son-in-law David F. Eames, Esq., of Upton. He was a man of strict integrity, a good Christian and faithful friend. He experienced religion early in life. He resided Upton, MA.
