Family:Whitney, Susannah (1728-1804)

Susannah⁵ Whitney (Jonathan⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), daughter of Jonathan⁴ and Lydia (Jones) Whitney, was born 12 Feb 1727/8, Mendon, MA,^[1] and died 9 Nov 1804.^[2]

She married firstly, 25 Jun 1752, Mendon, MA, Isaac Tenney,^[3] both "of Mendon",^[4] son of Thomas and Sarah (Taft) Tenney. He was born 22 Feb 1722/3, Mendon, MA, and died before 11 Apr 1764.

She married secondly, 11 Apr 1764, Mendon, MA, Noah Wiswall, son of Thomas and Sarah (Daniel) Wiswall. He was baptized 20 May 1739, Holliston, MA, and died 9 Mar 1804, Milford, MA, aged 63 years.

Pierce says the following:^[5]

SUSANNA [WHITNEY], b. Feb. 12, 1728; m. in Mendon, Jan. 25, 1752 [NOTE], Isaac TENNEY, b. Milford, Feb. 22, 1723, d. bef. 1764; m. 2d. Apr 11, 1764, Noah WISWALL, d. Nov. 9, 1804. Isaac inherited his father's farm in Milford. Mr. And Mrs. Tenney were member of the church and had their children baptized. The date of his death is unknown; res. Mil. Ch.: Ruth, bap. May 13, 1753; Jonathan, bap. Apr. 20, 1755; Ruby, b. Jan. 12, 1765; m. Silas BROWN; Perley, b. Mar. 11, 1767; Jerusha, b. July 17, 1769; m. Moses GREEN.

Children of Isaac and Susannah⁵ (Whitney) Tenney:

i.	Ruth Tenney, bapt. 13 May 1753, Milford, MA; d. 21 May 1759, Milford, MA, aged 6 years.
ii.	Jonathan Tenney, bapt. 20 Apr 1755, Milford, MA; d. 19 May 1759, Milford, MA, aged 5 years.
iii.	Elisabeth Tenney, b. 17 May 1757, Mendon, MA; m. 28 Dec 1775, Mendon, MA, Jabez Metcalf "of Bellingham".
iii.	Lydia Tenney, b. 8 Sep 1760, Mendon, MA; m. 8 Nov 1781, Milford, MA, John Foristell, Jr. "of Warwick".

Children of Noah and Susannah⁵ (Whitney)(Tenney) Wiswall, all born Mendon, MA:

i.	Ruby Wiswall, b. 12 Jan 1765; m. 9 May 1790, Milford, MA, Silas Brown.
ii.	Perla Wiswall, b. 11 Mar 1767. She was also known as Perley Wiswall.
iii.	Jerusha Wiswall, b. 17 Jul 1769; surname "Winter" in vital records; d. 23 Jun 1849; m. 24 Jun 1792, Milford, MA, Moses Green.
