Taylor S. Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1827, OH, and died before 1859.
He married firstly, 20 Dec 1849, Dearborn Co., IN, Jane McShane.[1] She apparently died before 1854.
He married secondly, 2 Feb 1854, Pickaway Co., OH, Elizabeth Hardinger,[2] daughter of John W. and Susan (Walter) Hardinger. She was born 3 Jul 1833, Fairfield Co., OH, and died 12 Apr 1915, Union, IA. He was buried in Sheppard Cemetery, Gifford, IA.[3] She married secondly (using surname Hartinger), 3 Apr 1859, Hardin Co., IA, Peter Lepley,[4] son of John Stoner and Mary (Kemery) Lepley, born 31 Jan 1826, Knox Co., OH, and died 28 Jan 1908, Hardin Co., IA. He was buried in Sheppard Cemetery, Gifford, IA.[5]
