He married, Barbara Ann Bushman, daughter of John A. and Roxanna (Fryer) Bushman. She was born 4 Jan 1858, Milledgeville, IL, and died 6 Apr 1934, Sioux Falls, SD. She was buried in Sheppard Cemetery, Gifford, IA.^[2]
