Wetherbee6 Whitney (Simon5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Simon5 and Olive (Wetherbee) Whitney, was born 3 May 1746, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 14 Oct 1775, Harvard, MA, aged 29 years 5 months.[2]
He married 7 Jul 1774, Harvard, MA, Abigail Warner.[3] She was born 7 Feb 1746.
His will was probated 28 Aug 1776. He resided Harvard, MA. He was a farmer.
His widow married secondly, 12 Sep 1778, Harvard, MA, Nicholas Patterson.[4] He was born 22 Mar 1740.
They resided Harvard. Nicholas took up land at Otter Creek, Vermont. His family remained in Harvard. While living there in a hut he died in 1790. Ch. by Abigail: Abigail, born 22 Jul 1779; died infancy; Abigail Willard, born 13 Jun 1780; died 23 Jun 1813; Artemas, born 7 Apr 1781; Lucinda, born 25 Feb 1783; died 1832; Anna Willard, born 5 Mar 1785; Alexander, born 15 May 1787; died unmarried at sea.
