William Whitney, parentage unknown but probably descended from William and Anne (-----) Whitney of Gwernfythen, born say 1600, died after 1649.

i.	(son) Whitney.
ii.	Walter Whitney, born say 1629. On 17 Jul 1649, "Walter Whitney, 2nd son of William W., of Gwernefe (?), co. Radnor, gen." was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.
