William Lovell⁸ Whitney (Lovell⁷, Isaiah⁶, Isaiah⁵, Isaiah⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Lovell⁷ and Rebecca (Witt) Whitney, born 12 Mar 1822, Rindge, NH,^[1] and died 19 Dec 1897, West Rindge, NH, aged 69 years 9 months 7 days, of chronic diarrhea, general debility, and progressive paralysis.

He married Sarah P.⁸ Whitney, daughter of John⁷ and Sophia (Faulkner) Whitney. She was born 16 Apr 1827, MA, and died after 1897.

He was in the war of the rebellion and discharged for disability 26 Dec 1862; resided W. Rindge, NH.

He was a mechanic.
