Zuri8 Whitney (Artemas Hammond7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Artemas H.7 and Abby (Skinner) Whitney, was born 29 Jan 1823, Dana, MA, and died 8 May 1896, Ludlow, MA, aged 73 years 3 months 8 days, of diabetic [?abrofyg?] liver.[1]

He married, 18 Dec 1845 [Pierce] or 13 Dec 1845, Ludlow, MA, Sarah S. Alden, dau. of Asahel and Polly (-----) Alden.[2] She was born about 8 Mar 1822, Ludlow, MA, and died 10 Jun 1888, Ludlow, MA, aged 64 years 3 months 2 days, of [?peruse?] anemia.[3]

He is a farmer; resided Ludlow Center, MA.
