He married, 22 May 1822, Joanna Brearley. She was born circa 1804, PA, and died after 1870.
He was listed as Samuel "Wooney" on a tax list dated 1828, aged 30, farmer, Fannett Township, Franklin Co., PA.[1] The age is slightly off.
