Esther Pierce (Ephraim, Mary³ Whitney, Joshua², John¹), daughter of Ephraim and Esther (Shedd) Pierce, born 29 May 1722, Groton, MA, and died 1 Apr 1754 at age 31.

She married firstly, 17 Oct 1739, Topsfield, MA, Benjamin Gould, son of Thomas and Mary (Yates) Gould. He was born 29 May 1716, Topsfield, MA, and died 16 Dec 1747, Topsfield, MA.

She married secondly, 2 Mar 1752, Lunenburg, MA, Joseph Hammond, son of Nathaniel and Bridget (Harris) Hammond. He was born 3 Feb 1723/24, Ipswich, MA, and died in 1804, Swanzey, NH.

Children of Benjamin and Esther (Pierce) Gould, both born Lunenburg, MA:

i.	Benjamin Gould, b. 31 Jan 1740/41; m. 14 May 1764, Harvard, MA, Sarah Foster.
ii.	Amos Gould, b. 7 Feb 1744; d. 20 Sep 1746.

Children of Joseph and Esther (Pierce)(Gould) Hammond, both born Swanzey, NH:

i.	Joseph Hammond, b. 30 Jun 1753; m. 13 Feb 1777, NH, Susanna Parker.
ii.	Benjamin Hammond, b. 30 Jun 1753; d. 27 Mar 1813; m. 16 Jan 1781, Swanzey, NH Sarah Fisk.
