Abijah6 Whitney (Nathan5, Nathan4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Nathan5 and Tabitha (Bennett) Whitney, was baptized 8 May 1768, Harvard, MA,[1] and died after 1800.

He married, 28 Oct 1788, Conway, MA, Jane Murphy, "both of Conway".[2]

Children of Abijah6 and Jane (Murphy) Whitney, all born Conway, MA:

i. (child) Whitney, b. 1 Mar 1789; d. 1 Mar 1789, Conway, MA, aged 12 hours.[3]
ii. Tabitha Whitney, bapt. 11 Jul 1790;[4] d. -- --- 1795, Conway, MA, aged 5 years, of dysentery.[5]
iii. Esther Whitney, bapt. 4 Oct 1792.[6] Living 1800.
iv. Joel Whitney, bapt. 14 Jun 1795;[7] d. -- --- 1795, Conway, MA, of dysentery.[8]
iv. (daughter) Whitney, b. before 1800; deduced from 1800 census.
