Amos6 Whitney (Abraham5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Abraham5 and Mary (Mead) Whitney, was born about 1786, Watertown, MA, and died 10 Jun 1824, Waltham, MA, aged 38.[1]

Marriage intentions were published 20 Oct 1810, Watertown, MA, for him "of Watertown" and Martha Priest "of Waltham".[2] He "of Watertown" married, 17 Jan 1811, Watertown or Waltham, MA, Martha Priest "of Waltham",[3] daughter of James and Abigail (Lawrence) Priest. She was born about 1784, Waltham, MA, was baptized 4 Jul 1784, and ""Patty" died 25 Jan 1860, aged 75 years, of gangrene, widow.[4]

He was a paper-maker 12 Oct 1813, Waltham, Middlesex, MA.
