Dr. Benjamin Bartlett8 Whitney (Amos7, (prob.) Charles6, John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Amos7 and Mary (Lamson) Whitney, was born about 12 Jan 1843, ME, and died 11 Dec 1881, Lowell, MA, aged 37 years 10 months 29 days, of typhoid fever, physician.[1]

He "Dr." married, 8 or 24 Nov 1868, Frankfort or Winterport, ME, Mary E. Morton, "both of Frankfort".[2] Marriage intentions were published 12 Oct 1883, Unity, ME, for her and her second husband, W. B. Rice, "both of Unity".[3]

Children of Dr. Benjamin Bartlett8 and Mary E. (Morton) Whitney, if any, unknown.
