Charles W.9 Whitney (William8, Joseph7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of William8 and Mary E. (Glines) Whitney, was born 13 Jul 1853, West Roxbury, MA,[1] and died 21 May 1889, Boston, MA, aged 36 years, of phthisis.[2]
At marriage he was an undertaker. At death he resided 36 L Street, druggist.
He married, 28 Apr 1885, Boston, MA, Lucy E. Lacey/DeLacy, daughter of Patrick and Barbars (Hart) DeLacy.[3] She was born 10 Aug 1866, Boston, MA. She married secondly, 5 Jul 1908, Boston, MA, John Guarino, son of Pasquale M. and Sontella (De Sisto) Guarino, born about 1866, Italy.[4]

i. Kate May10 Whitney, b. 8 Jun 1885 [twin], Boston, MA;[5] d. 16 Mar 1887, Boston, MA, aged 1 year 9 months, of test. diathesis creg., test. meningitis.[6] ii. Lucy Florence Whitney, b. 8 Jun 1885 [twin], Boston, MA.[7]
