Daniel⁹ Whitney (Amos⁸, Amos⁷, Ephraim⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Amos⁸ and Nancy (Warren) Whitney, was born 23 Oct 1814, Upton, MA,^[1] and died 6 Jul 1891.

He married, 3 Jan 1835, Upton, MA, Lovice R. Brown.^[2]

Children of Daniel⁹ and Lovice R. (Brown) Whitney:

i.	Everett10 Whitney, b. 1836; m. Jane Balcome.
ii.	Daniel W. Whitney, b. Aug 1838; m. Mary Pond.

iv.	Laura Eveline Whitney, b. Feb 1845; m. John Robbins; s.p.
v.	Jane Elizabeth Whitney, b. 27 Sep 1848; d. 12 Nov 1848, Upton, MA, aged 1 month 15 days.[3]
vi.	Andrew Rockwood Whitney, b. 30 Oct 1860; d. Jul 1877.
