He married, 23 Sep 1858, Watertown, MA, Caroline Abbe Rogers, daughter of Luke and Sarah W. (Brown) Rogers.^[4] She was born 14 Oct 1827, Boston, MA, and died 4 Feb 1904, Belmont, MA, aged 76 years 3 months 21 days, of a cerebral hemorrhage.^[5]
