Franklin8 Whitney (Seneca7, Daniel6, Elijah5, Daniel4, John3, John2, John1), son of Seneca7 and Hannah (Moore) Whitney, was born 10 Sep 1808, Warwick, MA,[1] and died 6 Apr 1889, Montague, MA, aged 80 years 6 months, of old age.[2]

He married, before 1838, Nancy Mariah Herrick, daughter of George W. and L. H. (-----) Herrick. She was born about May 1820, Salem, MA, and died 7 Apr 1866, Warwick, MA, aged 45 years 11 months, of menorchagra.[3]

He was a carpenter.
