George Augustus Whitney (George H., Frederick), son of George H. and Mary Jane (Gilman) Whitney, was born 20 Jul 1853, Danvers, MA,[1] or Easton, MA, or Peabody, MA, or Boston, MA, and died 23 Dec 1905, Stoughton, MA, aged 52 years 4 months 23 days, of lobar pneumonia.[2] He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton, MA.[3]

He married, 11 Oct 1877, Stoughton, MA, Alice E. "Nellie C." "Ellen C." Robinson, daughter of David and Clarissa C. (-----) Robinson.[4] She was born about 1852, Epsom, NH, or Pembroke, MA, or Lynn, MA.
