Howard P.9 Whitney (Elden S.8, James7, Benjamin6, Jonathan5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Elden S.8 and Arevesta (Skillings) Whitney, was born Jun 1876, Saco, ME, and died after 1907.

He married, 6 Sep 1899, Merrimac, MA, Bertha M. Becker, dau. of Jacob and Anne (Belair) Becker.[1] She was born Dec 1873, Germany, and died after 1907.

i. Elden Joslin10 Whitney, b. 17 Nov 1900, Haverhill, MA.[2]
ii. (child} Whitney, b. 22 Jun 1904, Haverhill, MA;[3] 23 Jun 1904, Haverhill, MA, aged 4 hours, of permature birth.[4] Birth record says female, death says male.
iii. Raymond Dustin Whitney, b. 21 Nov 1907, Haverhill, MA.[5]
