Isaac Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1800, and died after 1840.

He married, 22 May 1825, Boston, MA, Nancy Tracy.[1] She was born about 1798, Boston, MA, and died 14 Sep 1848, Charlestown, MA, aged 50 years, of consumption.[2]

Children of Isaac and Nancy (Tracy) Whitney, possibly incomplete:

ii. (daughter) Whitney, b. ca. 1828.
iii. William Whitney, b. ca. 1831, Charlestown, MA; m.(1) 25 Feb 1855, Charlestown, MA, Ann M. Wyman, b. ca. 1836, Charlestown, MA, dau. of Nathaniel F. and Harriet M. (-----) Wyman;[3] apparently divorced; of Charlestown, m.(2) 19 Apr 1864, Marlborough, MA, Catherine J. Stearns, of Marlborough,[4] b. ca. 1838, Lockport, NY, d. 6 Mar 1868, Charlestown, MA, aged 29 years 7 months, of consumption, dau. of Caleb S. and Georgianna (-----) Stearns.[5] Ann M. Wyman m.(2) 1 Sep 1867, Boston, MA, George Parker.
iv. Jacob Whitney, b. ca. 1833, Boston, MA; d. 24 Mar 1900, Boston, MA, aged 67 years, of pulmonary tuberculosis;[6] m.(1) 10 Sep 1863, Charlestown, MA, Hannah L. Singleton,[7] b. ca. 17 May 1827, Boston, MA, d. 10 Feb 1866, Boston, MA, aged 38 years 4 months 23 days, of apoplexy, dau. of Thomas C. and Harriet (Smith) Singleton;[8] m.(2) 24 Aug 1866, Charlestown, MA, Eliza S. (Ridlon) Dodge,[9], b. 21 Apr 1828, Buxton, ME, d. 8 Feb 1895, Boston, MA, aged 66 years 9 months 19 days, of la grippe, dau. of Amos and Elizabeth Milliken (Berry) Ridlon,[10] who had (as "Eliza S. Redmond") m. 12 Jun 1848, Boston, MA, John Dodge.[11] In 1866 they lived at 79 Charter St., but from 1869 to 1900, at 85 Pearl St., Boston, MA.
