Samuel8 Whitney (James Edward7, Samuel6, Ebenezer5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of James Edward7 and Ruth Ann (Kenny) Whitney, was born 10 Oct 1836, North Esk, NB (or Woodstock, VT, per James's birth record), and died 5 Aug 1901, Everett, WA. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Everett, WA.[1]

He married, before 1864, Frances Rachel Goddard. Her parents were both born in NS. She was born Mar 1835, NS, and died 1906, Everett, WA. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Everett, WA.[2]
