Samuel Ivory⁷ Whitney or Ivory Samuel⁷ Whitney (Samuel⁶, Elijah⁵, Abraham⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Samuel⁶ and Lucy (Handley) Whitney, was born 13 Mar 1809, Bolton, MA,^[1] and died 26 May 1854, New Bedford, MA.^[2]

He married, 5 Sep 1833, New Bedford, MA, Eliza Cannon.^[3] She was born 4 Jul 1814,^[4] and died 10 Sep 1894.^[5]

He was a cooper. He resided New Bedford, MA.
