William Alden Whitney (Thomas Hendly, Elisha), son of Thomas Hendly and Salome P. (Kniffin) Whitney, was born 16 Nov 1838, Aylesford, NS, and died 9 Oct 1914, Winthrop, MA.[1]
He married, 25 Jul 1859, Newburyport, MA, or Salem, MA, Elizabeth Ann Tuttle, daughter of John Butler and Elizabeth Ann (Talbot) Tuttle.[2] She was born 8 Oct 1839, Newburyport, MA, and died 17 Jun 1906.[3]
He was a painter.
Both are buried in Northport, ME.
