From: "Jeanne Muse" <jwmuse -at- csi.com> Subject: Re: [WHITNEY-L] "Whitney Whistler" Newsletter Date: Wed, 14 Apr 1999 08:28:10 -0400 Dear Robert: A few years ago, I received the address for the "Whitney Family Association" from the friendly folks at the Berkshire Family History Association in Pittsfield, Mass. I wrote a letter of inquiry dated May 18, 1994 (I have my copy) to Mary Ann Shields, Publisher, Shields Publishing Co., P.O. Box 43, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. -- IT WAS RETURNED as "Attempted -- Not Known". I am thrilled you got your hands on the issues. They may tell us more about this "association" (reunions, etc.??) in addition to queries and related lines. I wonder -- was Mary Ann Shields related to the Whitney family?
