Jacob7 Whitney (Jacob6, Richard5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jacob6 and Lois (Hapgood) Whitney, was born 16 Oct 1776, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 12 Apr 1864, Harvard, MA, farmer, aged 87 years 5 months 26 days, of lung fever and old age, son of Jacob.
He married firstly, 20 Feb 1806, Harvard, MA, Mercy Fairbank7 Whitney,[2] daughter of Reuben6 and Lucy (Fairbank) Whitney. She was born 25 Jul 1786, Harvard, MA,[3] and died 9 Jul 1822, Harvard, MA.[4]
Marriage intentions were published 7 Jun 1823, Harvard, MA, for him and second wife Hannah6 Whitney "of Bolton".[5] He "of Harvard" married secondly, 13 Jul 1823, Bolton, MA, Hannah6 Whitney,[6] daughter of John5 and Sarah (Atherton) Whitney. She was born 6 Sep 1794, Bolton, MA, and died 24 or 26 May 1833, Harvard, MA, aged 44 years.[7]
He married thirdy, 2 Jun 1839, Harvard, MA, Elizabeth Gates,[8] daughter of John and Catherine (Wetherbee) Gates. She was born 17 Nov 1792, Stow, MA, and died 24 Feb 1870, Harvard, MA, aged 77 years 3 months 7 days, of pneumonia, born in Stow, daughter of John and Catherine Gates.
