William Eugene10 Whitney (Eugene Henry9, William Henry8, Isaac7, Jacob6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Eugene Henry9 and Bertha Catherine (Taylor) Whitney,[1] was born 6 Apr 1909, Maynard, MA,[2] and died 19 Nov 1993, Gulfport, MS, from pneumonia related to an assault.[3]

He married 1 Aug 1931, Bolton, MA,[4] Alice Rita Baker, daughter of Frank and Frances (Drobinowicz) Baker. She was born 1 May 1910, Poland, and died 1 Jan 2001, Gulfport, MS, from complications of Alzheimers.

They lived in Maynard, MA, Stow, MA, Spring Hill, FL and Gulfport, MS. Bill was first a printer and later drove a bus in Maynard.

Children of William Eugene10 and Alice (Baker) Whitney:

i. Marjorie Therese11 Whitney, b. 13 Sep 1930, Waltham, MA; d. 28 Jan 2006, Pensacola, Fl; m. 15 June 1952, Maynard, MA, Lester A. Turner.[5]
ii. William Eugene Whitney II, b. 1936, Concord, MA.
