Preston Whitney (Joseph, [perhaps] Elijah, [probably] Francis, [perhaps] Joshua3, David2, Samuel1), son of Joseph and Rebecca (Poe) Whitney, born circa 1816, MO, and died sometime after 1850.
He married, circa 1840, Nicy Randol. She was born circa 1825, MO.
Children of Preston and Nicy (Randol) Whitney (possibly incomplete):
i. Marsolete Whitney, b. ca. 1841, MO. Is she perhaps the Marsolate, b. ca. 1840, KY, wife of Henry Markwell, enumerated in May, Platte Co., MO in 1880? ii. Charlotte Whitney, b. ca. 1845, MO. iii. Engelbert R. Whitney, b. ca. 1847, MO, d. aft. 1880.
