Preston Whitney (Joseph, [perhaps] Elijah, [probably] Francis, [perhaps] Joshua³, David², Samuel¹), son of Joseph and Rebecca (Poe) Whitney, born circa 1816, MO, and died sometime after 1870.

He married, circa 1840, Nicy Randol. She was born circa 1825, MO, and died after 1850.
