Ezra8 Whitney (Salmon7, Moses6, Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Salmon7 and Abigail (Bray) Whitney, was born about 1822, Township Letter E, ME, and died presumably about 1915, aged 93 years.
He "Mr." "of Camden" married, 12 Aug 1855, Shelburne, NH, "Miss" Cordelia A. Knight "of Peru".[1] She was born about 1834, ME, and died after 1880.
He resided Rockland, ME, a wealthy man. Had a daughter.
Child of Ezra8 and Cordelia A. (Knight) Whitney:
i. Celestia9 Whitney, b. ca. 1849, ME; d. after 1860. Her age in 1860 may be misstated, based on the marriage date of her parents and her failure to appear in the 1850 census. Possibly she was 4, not 11, and so b. ca. 1856. Alternatively, she could be adopted.
