Ephraim5 Whitney (Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1, ThomasA), son of Moses4 and Lydia (Taylor) Whitney was born 1 Mar 1723/24 at Littleton, MA[1] and died 9 Nov 1796 at Chesterfield, NH, at age 72[2].
Ephraim married Jane Bancroft, daughter of John and Mary (Clark) Bancroft, 16 Jan 1745/46 at Lunenburg, MA.
He was also known as Lt. Ephraim Whitney. He was signed a petition on 31 Dec 1746 at Lunenburg, MA. He lived in 1776 at Chesterfield, NH; called "Lt."
Jane Bancroft was born on 8 Jul 1722 at Lynn, MA.
