Cyrus P.⁸ Whitney (Peter⁷, Israel⁶, Jonas⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Peter⁷ and Laura (Farr) Whitney, was born 12 Feb 1843, and died 1927.

He married, 3 Sep 1865, Cynthia L. Davenport. She was born 9 May 1838. She died in 1898.

He resided in Malone, NY and is buried in Sand Hill Cemetery in Dickinson, Franklin County, New York.
