Amos L.8 Whitney (Amos Kimball7, Charles6, Aaron5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Amos Kimball7 and Anna (Leonard) Whitney, was born about 5 Nov 1818, Warwick, MA, and died 7 May 1862, Lowell, MA, aged 43 years 6 months 2 days, of consumption.[1]
Marriage intentions were published 15 Mar 1845, Lowell, MA, for him and his first wife Alice Y. Thurlow, "both of Lowell",[2] daughter of Aaron and Eliza (-----) Thurlow. She was born about 3 Jun 1822, Sanbornton, NH, and died 19 Aug 1855, Lowell, MA, aged 33 years 2 months 16 days, of consumption.[3]
He married secondly, 6 Oct 1856, Lowell, MA, Jemima Swansey Lane,[4] daughter of David and Naomi (Gibson) Lane. She was born 19 Jan 1827, Lowell, MA, or Sanbornton, NH, and died 10 Mar 1901, Framingham, MA, aged 73 years, of lobar pneumonia.[5]
Machinist, resided Adams Street, Lowell, MA.
