Moses Gill6 Whitney (Josiah5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Josiah5 and Sarah (Dwelly) Whitney, was born 4 Feb 1791, Harvard, MA,[1] baptized 2 Oct 1791, Acton, MA, and died 1876.

He married, before 1815, Ann Shields. She was born about 1792, VT, and died Mar 1870, Bennington, VT, aged 78 years of pneumonia.[2]

He resided Bennington, VT.

ii. Lewis Whitney, b. 2 Aug 1818, Whitingham, VT; m. Rhoda Smith Dodge.
