David7 Whitney (Isaac6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaac6 and Polly (Fairbanks) Whitney, was born 9 Nov 1812, Springfield, VT,[1] and died after 1850.

He married, 1 Jan 1837, Brookline, MA,[2] Cloe H. Farrington "both of Brookline", daughter of Elijah and Puah [Hayden] Farrington. She was born about Dec 1818, Milford, MA, and died 28 Sep 1863, Brookline, MA, aged 44 years 9 months, of scrofular tubercles of the intestines.[3] She was a sister of Susan H. Farrington who married David's brother Aaron.

They resided in Elmore, VT; "had sons Isaac and James Whitney".
