Family:Whitney, Alpheus (1791-1880)

Alpheus⁷ Whitney (Eleazer⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Eleazer⁶ and Martha (Crozer) Whitney, was born 29 Jan 1791, Halifax, VT,^[1] and died 18 Oct 1880, Halifax, VT.

He married, 4 Nov 1819, Halifax, VT, Sally Stone.^[2] She was born Aug 1800, and died 28 Jan 1890, Halifax, VT.

Both are buried in West Halifax Cemetery, West Halifax, VT.

Children of Alpheus⁷ and Sally (Stone) Whitney:

Philip, Caroline, Christopher, Maria, Amos, George, William, Sarah, Olive, Hannah, also two children who died young. Some of their ages are unknown.^[3]
