James Odell10 Whitney (Increase B.9, Thomas G.8, Ephraim7, Moses6, Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Increase B.9 and Priscilla (Ridlon)(Jones) Whitney, was born about 1857, Casco, ME, and died 2 May 1942. He was buried in Gray Village Cemetery, Gray, ME.
He married 2 Oct 1876, Gray, ME, Flora I. Foster. She was born about 1861, Gray, ME, and died 5 Dec 1926, Gray, ME.
In the 1880 census in Windham he is reported as single, for which no explanation is apparent. Flora is living in Casco with her own family, listed as married, with daughter Bertha.
