He married firstly, 6 Sep 1787, Petersham, MA, Lydia Bryant.[2] She was born about Apr 1767, and died 27 May 1800, West Springfield, MA, aged 33 years 1 month.[3]
Marriage intentions were published 19 Feb 1802, Conway, MA, for him "Esq." "of Brattleborough, Vt." and his second wife Ruth Banister "of Conway",[4] daughter of John and Sarah (Adams) Banister. She was born 4 Feb 1779, Brookfield, MA, and died apparently before 1813.
