Martha Leah8 Whitney (Amos7, Ephraim6, Amos5, Amos4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Amos7 and Matilda (Wright) Whitney, was born about 1852, OH, and died 12 May 1928, Oklahoma City, OK.

She married 8 Dec 1867, Joseph Whitney Farmhouse near Lindley, MO, Marion Claude Stanberry. He was born 25 Jun 1843, Chillicothe, MO, and died 31 Oct 1918 .

Marion Stanberry was a Civil War veteran, and he and Martha received a pension from the U. S. government.

Marion and Martha are both buried in the Red Rock Cemetery, Clinton, OK.
