Family:Whitney, Benjamin Blethen (1823-1910)

Benjamin Blethen⁹ Whitney (Thomas G.⁸, Ephraim⁷, Moses⁶, Ephraim⁵, Moses⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Thomas G.⁸ and Thankful (Blethen) Whitney, was born 27 Apr 1823, Raymond, ME,^[1] and died 23 Mar 1910, Falmouth, ME.^[2]

Marriage intentions were published 5 Sep 1846, North Yarmouth, ME, for him and Persis H. Dolloff "of Gray",^[3] probably daughter of Abner and Rebecca (Foster) Dolloff, which would make her a sister of Martha Dolloff who married his brother Ephraim. She was born 18 Jul 1829, ME, and died 25 Feb 1886.
