Benjamin Blethen9 Whitney (Thomas G.8, Ephraim7, Moses6, Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Thomas G.8 and Thankful (Blethen) Whitney, was born 27 Apr 1823, Raymond, ME,[1] and died 23 Mar 1910, Falmouth, ME.[2]
Marriage intentions were published 5 Sep 1846, North Yarmouth, ME, for him and Persis H. Dolloff "of Gray",[3] probably daughter of Abner and Rebecca (Foster) Dolloff, which would make her a sister of Martha Dolloff who married his brother Ephraim. She was born 18 Jul 1829, ME, and died 25 Feb 1886.
