Philip7 Whitney (Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Eleazer6 and Martha (Crozer) Whitney, was born 12 Oct 1795, Halifax, VT, and died 24 Aug 1871, Halifax, VT, aged 74 years 2 months. He was buried in the Whitneyville Cemetery, Halifax, VT.[1]
He married, 3 Dec 1818, Halifax, VT, Sarah Cook,[2] daughter of Sylvale Cook by an unknown father. Sylvale married John Brown 15 Jun 1802, Buckland, MA. She was born 30 Oct 1795, Halifax, VT, and died 29 Apr 1871, Halifax, VT, aged 75 years 6 months. She was buried in the Whitneyville Cemetery, Halifax, VT.[3]
