Eleazer8 Whitney (Jotham7, Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Jotham7 and Angeline (Jones) Whitney, was born 13 Feb 1845, Buckland, MA,[1] or 7 Feb 1846, Charlemont, MA,[2] and died 14 Jul 1902, Charlemont, MA,[3] aged 50 years, of cardiac failure following lobar pneumonia and delerium tremens.[4]
He married 3 Dec 1875, or 15 Nov 1878, Halifax, VT, Sarah Seabury Stetson,[5] daughter of Robert and Sarah Emeline (Barber) Stetson. She was born 4 Oct 1849,[6] Heath, MA, and died 3 Feb 1897.
