Charles Daniel9 Whitney (John Marble8, Daniel7, Daniel6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of John Marble8 and Hannah E. (Whitmarsh) Whitney, was born 16 May 1856, Stow or Lowell, MA, and died 10 Mar 1881, Maynard, MA, aged 24 years 10 months, of pneumonia.[1]
He married, 28 Nov 1877, Maynard, MA, Addie F. Walcott, daughter of George Walcott. She was born Sep 1858, Morgan, VT, or Stow, MA.[2] She m.(2) 17 Jul 1884, Maynard, MA, William J. Haine, or William T. Haynes, b. ca. 1856, Ireland, son of Thomas and Jane (-----) Haine.[3] In 1900, she had the surname Whitney again, so perhaps she and Haine/Haynes were divorced. He married secondly, 18 Apr 1901, Maynard, MA, Emily Wolfenden.
