Marriage banns were published 1783, Topsham, ME, for him "of Little River" and Sarah Trufant "of Potterstown".^[8] He "of Little River" married, 22 May 1783, Topsham, ME, "Miss" Sarah Trufant "of Potterstown",^[9] and also recorded in Bowdoin, ME^[10], daughter of Job and Chloe (White) Trufant. Sarah Trufant was born circa 1761, gave age as 59 in 1820. She was born circa 1761 at Potterstown, ME. She was born 16 Feb 1764, Bowdoin, ME. She was born 16 Feb 1765, Weymouth, MA. She died 14 Jul 1846, Lisbon Falls, ME, or 24 Jul 1846, Lisbon, ME.^[11] She was also known as Sarah Truant. She was also known as Sarah Truent. Birth derived from document (?) in 1820 in which she gave her age as 59.

They lived at Lisbon, ME, at the foot of Rowe's Hill.
