Hon. Bartholomew9 Whitney (Bartholomew8, Oliver7, Silas6, David5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Bartholomew8 and Sarah (Sanford) Whitney, was born 8 Mar 1826, Franklin, VT, and died 16 Oct 1893, West Berkshire, VT.

He married, 3 Nov 1847, Franklin, VT, Sarah Towle Pearson. She was born 10 Nov 1826, VT, and died after 1900.
