Charles Emerson9 Whitney (Jotham Emerson8, Philip7, Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Jotham Emerson8 and Fanny Maria (Waters) Whitney, was born 4 Nov 1857, Halifax, VT,[1] or 4 Nov 1862, Halifax, VT, and died 6 Apr 1942, Readsboro, VT.
He married, 1 Jan 1888, Readsboro, VT, Hattie E. Jewell, daughter of Edward K. and Dianna (Hinsdale) Jewell.[2] She was born about 1869, Readsboro, VT, and died 1 Jul 1893, VT.
